Your machine overheating could be due to a couple of reasons:

Your fan is faulty. This can be easily tested, simply by hearing the fan at startup. Fan may be clogged or dusty. This occurs when the fan sucks in dust and fine particles over time, pushing the particles into cooling ribs, clogging them up, thus, causing overheating. 

we insert silicon paste between the heat sink ceramics for better contact.
